New international pay-television broadcaster Eleven Sports Network has agreed its first carriage deal in Singapore through a partnership with pay-television operator Singtel.
Singtel will carry the new Eleven and Eleven Sports channels recently launched by the broadcaster.
The two channels will be available for a free preview through to August 23, which means football fans in Singapore will be able to watch the pre-season Emirates Cup this weekend, which features home team Arsenal, along with Olympique Lyonnais, Villarreal and VfL Wolfsburg.
English football’s FA Community Shield, between Arsenal and Chelsea on August 2, also falls within the free preview window.
Both channels will be available at no additional cost to customers who currently subscribe to the mio Sports channels. Simulcast games on Eleven and Eleven Sports will be shown on mio Sports whenever there are multiple matches being played at the same time. All three channels will be available on the Singtel TV Go app.
