International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports has acquired rights in Belgium to football national team qualifiers for the Uefa Euro 2020 and Fifa 2022 World Cup tournaments, as well as the inaugural Uefa Nations League.
Confirmation of the agreement comes more than a year after TV Sports Markets first reported the deal.
Eleven will be able to show coverage of every qualifier on every match day, including the play-offs and other international friendlies. Matches featuring Belgium can be shown on a delayed basis with the remainder being available live.
Eleven has also acquired exclusive rights to all highlights programmes, including those featuring Belgium matches, as well as near-live clips on social media.
The Nations League deal includes exclusive live rights to all matches, including those featuring Belgium, if the team reaches the tournament’s finals.
The deals were brokered on behalf of Uefa, football’s European governing body, by the CAA Eleven agency.
