UK pay-television broadcaster Sky Sports has signed a three-year rights deal with the England Netball organisation for the Superleague club competition and all home international games.
The deal commenced on Sunday with Sky providing live coverage of the first of three England international fixtures against South Africa.
Sky will broadcast all 12 rounds of the Superleague season, beginning early next year. The Superleague features eight franchises from England and Wales.
In other news, Sky has announced the launch of a new programme dedicated to women’s sport.
Sportswomen will cover the latest news, views and analysis and feature interviews with athletes and respected figures from the world of sport. The first programme will be broadcast by the Sky Sports News channel tomorrow.
