US sports broadcaster ESPN and Indian pay-television operator Zee have agreed a sub-licensing deal for an extensive cricket package.
Under the agreement, cricket fans in the US will enjoy live coverage through online streaming platform ESPN3 of the ongoing tri-series one-day international completion featuring India, Sri Lanka and their host the West Indies, which concludes with a meeting between the two tourists in tomorrow’s final.
The West Indies then begin a five-match ODI and two-game Twenty20 series against Pakistan, which will air on ESPN3, as will South Africa’s ODI and T20 tour of Sri Lanka through July and August.
Later in the year, ESPN3 subscribers will be able to enjoy a host of cricket action, including Pakistan’s Test, ODI and T20 series against South Africa in the UAE.
