Sports broadcaster ESPN has exercised an option to extend a rights deal in the US for Brigham Young University’s American football games.
The one-year extension will be added onto an existing eight-year deal, which was due to expire at the end of the 2017-18 season.
ESPN will continue to have exclusive rights for BYU’s home games.
ESPN also shows coverage of BYU men’s basketball games through a rights deal with the West Coast Conference.
