ESPN faces a battle to keep hold of United States broadcast rights to Formula 1 in 2023 when the motorsport series will have three grands prix in the key international territory.

Formula 1 recently announced that the Las Vegas Grand Prix will join races in Austin, Texas, and Miami, Florida, from next year, capitalizing on the recent spike in popularity of the sport in the US, largely on the back of the popular Netflix docuseries Drive To Survive.
