ESPN, the Disney-owned sports broadcaster, has emerged victorious during an invitation to tender process for Spanish Super Cup broadcast rights in Brazil and the rest of South America, it is reported.
ESPN defeated competition from rival WarnerMedia and heavyweight commercial broadcaster Globo to land the rights in Brazil, according to the Notícias da TV website. The deal is also said to span the rest of South America.
