ESPN renews rights to the Rose Bowl college football game

US sports network EPSN has renewed its rights deal for the Rose Bowl game, the annual college American football game, for a further 12 years, from 2015 to 2026.

The Rose Bowl game, which takes places on New Year’s Day in Pasadena, California, pits the champion of the Big Ten Conference against the winner of the Pac-12 Conference.

The rights were sold by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, the Big Ten Conference and the Pac-12 Conference. The deal includes rights across various platforms, including television, mobile, online, radio, and on Xbox Live via the WatchESPN service.

ESPN will also televise the game in 3D across its ESPN International network.
