International sports broadcaster Eurosport has acquired rights in the UK to the forthcoming cricket series between Sri Lanka and Australia.
Eurosport will broadcast live coverage of matches on its main Eurosport channel in the UK, as well as its Eurosport Player live and on-demand digital service.
A three-Test series will begin on July 26 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Balagolla. The following Test matches will take place at the Galle International Stadium and the Sinhalese Sports Club in Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo.
Eurosport will continue its coverage with the five-match one-day international series running from August 21 to September 4 before concluding with the two Twenty20 games on September 6 and September 9.
The deal comes after Eurosport also broadcast live coverage of Sri Lanka’s Test series against the West Indies late last year.
