Pan-regional broadcaster Eurosport has acquired live rights for the US Open tennis tournament in selected Asian territories with the IMG Media agency in a four-year deal, from 2013 to 2016.
The deal covers the 17 Asian territories in which the Eurosport Asia-Pacific channel is available. Eurosport will show exclusive coverage in the following territories: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, North Korea, South Korea, Chinese Taipei and Vietnam. It’s coverage in Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines will be non-exclusive.

The IMG agency holds the US Open rights for Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia-Pacific excluding Japan for four years, from 2013 to 2016, through a deal with the USTA.
