Jean-Thierry Augustin, the new chief executive of Eurosport, has made a number of managerial staff changes at the pan-European sports broadcaster.
Julien Bergeaud has been appointed development director to strengthen the company’s development division and will report directly to Augustin.
Eurosport France managing director Arnaud Simon has extended his responsibilities to include international versions of the Eurosport channel, while technical director Vincent Gérard-Hirne will be in charge of production and distribution technology for the different language versions of group channels. Both will report to deputy managing director of the Eurosport Group, François Schmitt.
Augustin took the chief executive role last month, following the departure of Laurent-Eric Le Lay to TF1 Publicité, the advertising sales division of French commercial broadcaster TF1.
