The Eurosport group has announced a new partnership that will offer its pan-European sports channel Eurosport to the Xbox Live online service on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 games console.
The Eurosport Player app on Xbox 360 will deliver Eurosport’s exclusive live and on-demand sports content to 20 European markets in 13 different languages.
The service will also be launched in Poland, the Netherlands and Sweden in the coming weeks, but will not be available in France.
Eurosport Player will give Xbox Live Gold subscribers access to live simulcasts of the Eurosport and Eurosport 2 channels, catch up services across a range of programmes and live bonus content on selected events through multi-broadcast feeds.
