Social media platform Facebook has agreed a deal to stream the World Snooker Championship across the Americas and the Indian sub-continent for the second consecutive year.
The tournament runs from April 21 to May 7 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England. The entire tournament will be showcased for free in almost 40 countries via World Snooker’s Facebook page.
In North America, coverage will be available in the US, as well as Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago.
In South America, the tournament will be streamed in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.
In Asia, coverage will be provided in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.
