The French Football Federation will launch its first channel on video-sharing website Dailymotion on Saturday, with the new platform dedicated to live coverage of the domestic game’s various amateur championships.
The platform is a joint initiative between the FFF, the Amateur Football League and the country’s regional league bodies. It will broadcast matches live and in full.
“This initiative aims to expand the visibility of amateur football throughout the French territory and provide value to all of our 2,000,000 licensees and 17,000 clubs," the FFF said.
The channel will launch on Saturday with coverage of three games, commencing with the fifth-tier CFA2 E clash between Schiltigheim and Forbach at 5pm.
France's football system is composed of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, followed by the semi-professional Championnat National.
The Dailymotion channel will concern itself with leagues below this level.
