Fox International Channels, the broadcast division of media company 21st Century Fox, has strengthened its operations in the UK and France by appointing two new senior members of staff.
Olivier Bramly has been appointed general manager for France, while Jeff Ford has been named general manager for the UK.
Bramly joins FIC from pan-European broadcaster Eurosport, where he most recently served as senior executive vice-president for global distribution.
In his new role, Bramly will oversee all FIC business operations in France, including programming, advertising sales, marketing and production. He will also assume responsibility for the French-speaking markets in Belgium, Switzerland and Africa.
Meanwhile Ford joins FIC after stepping down from his role as director of content at Irish commercial broadcaster TV3.
Ford will now take responsibility for the growth and development of FIC’s UK business, which comprises a range of pay-television channels such as Fox and National Geographic.
