Fiji TV lands rights to Rugby League World Cup

Fijian commercial broadcaster Fiji TV has acquired rights to the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

Fiji TV brokered the deal with the IMG Media agency and its free-to-air channel, Fiji One, will carry live coverage of all matches from October 27 to December 2.

The 2017 World Cup is being co-hosted by Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Fiji will play its opening game against the United States on October 28 and has also been drawn alongside Italy and Wales in Pool D.
