For Media Sports, the media-rights agency with offices in London and Dubai, is to sell the international broadcast rights to the Uefa Champions League third qualifying round match between Greece’s PAOK and Portugal’s Benfica.
The agency, which is headed by executive managing director Emanuele Villari, previously chief executive, Europe at the B4 Capital agency, has reached an exclusive agreement to distribute the international rights.
The one-legged match will be played in Thessaloniki on Tuesday, September 15 at 6pm (GMT).
Broadcast rights to the Champions League qualifying rounds are held by the home club before the rights are centralised from the play-off round onwards (and sold by Uefa’s appointed Team Marketing agency).
The play-off round will be held over two legs and played on September 22-23 and 29-30.
