The Formula E electric car-racing championship has agreed two-season extensions to its rights deals with telecommunications firm Telekom Romania and pay-television broadcaster Arena Sport TV.
Telekom Romania’s Dolce Sport service will air Formula E live and exclusively in Romania, with Arena Sport TV covering territories in Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia and Kosovo.
The agreements cover the 2015-16 and 2016-17 Formula E seasons, the championship’s second and third campaigns.
Ali Russell, director of media and strategic partnerships at Formula E, said: “We look forward to continuing to build the presence of the FIA Formula E Championship together in these regions and any future collaborations.”
