The Fox International Channels broadcast subsidiary of media company 21st Century Fox has announced that it will launch its Fox Sports 2 pay-television channel in Italy on December 20.
FIC said that Fox Sports 2 would be offered exclusively via pay-television platform Sky Italia to subscribers who take up the HD sport package.
Fox Sports 2 will offer Italian viewers content such as NFL American football, Euroleague basketball and volleyball’s CEV Champions League.
The addition of Fox Sports 2 comes after the Fox Sports channel launched in August, offering football content from the English Premier League and FA Cup, the Spanish Liga, French Ligue 1 and the Dutch Eredivisie.
