Glory, a leading kickboxing promoter, has sealed a multi-year deal with Dutch pay-television operator Ziggo.
The deal will start with live coverage of the December 10 event, ‘Glory: Collision’, and will run “throughout 2017 and beyond,” according to Glory chief executive Jon Franklin.
Ziggo will show live coverage of events, as well as archive footage and exclusive interviews, plus magazine programmes.
Glory also confirmed that ‘Glory: Collision’ will be distributed as a live pay-per-view event in North America. The coverage will be carried by pay-television providers, including iN Demand, DirecTV and Dish Network.
The UFC.tv website – operated by the UFC mixed martial arts series – will serve as the exclusive pay-per-view provider for the event on a global basis. The deal is separate from an existing agreement between Glory and the UFC Fight Pass service for exclusive global rights to digital coverage of the Glory SuperFight series.
