Fox deal adds six European markets to America’s Cup broadcast footprint

The Fox Networks Group division of media company 21st Century Fox has acquired exclusive rights to broadcast all racing from sailing’s 35th America’s Cup in the Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Israel.

The agreement with Fox Sports in the six European markets means that America’s Cup racing is now being broadcast live in over 140 territories around the world.

The deal comes ahead of the latest round of the America’s Cup World Series, which takes place this weekend in Oman.

Fox Sports will cover the remaining World Series events in New York, Chicago, Portsmouth and Toulon ahead of the final match of the sailing showpiece in Bermuda in June 2017.
