The IMG agency’s Corporate Films and Commercials (CF&C) arm, part of its IMG Productions division, is to be rebranded as Evoke Films.
IMG said the rebrand, created by the OPX agency, will create a distinction between Evoke Films’ specialist offering and IMG’s other sports production arms.
Evoke Films will remain part of IMG and continue to deliver creative films for brands connected to sport. It will also continue to produce branded content for watchmaker Rolex, a long-term partner of the agency.
IMG said: “The rebrand will help clarify Evoke Films’ specialist ability to conceive and produce films that successfully communicate global brands messaging in an imaginative way, working direct to brands, or through broadcasters, media and advertising agencies.”
Evoke Films will officially launch at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2014, of which it is the official film producer. Evoke Films was commissioned for the work by new client Benchmark Sports.
Over the last seven years, CF&C’s clients have included US sportswear firm Nike, English Premier League football club Manchester United, All England Lawn Tennis Club and Rugby World Cup.
