Anne Zhao, the managing director of the Chinese arm of the Infront agency, has resigned and is to be replaced by current deputy managing director Dana Song.
Zhao was appointed MD of Infront China in 2015, having worked with the office from around the time of its inception in 2005. She will leave her role by the end of November.
Song joined Infront in 2006, and has been a member of Infront China’s core management team. She has strong experience in basketball, previously being director of basketball operations at the company. In 2018, Infront China and the Chinese Basketball Association extended until 2024 a partnership under which the agency manages the global commercial rights of the Chinese national basketball teams.
Infront China said in a statement Song would lead the group as it continues to expand its influence in the market.
