The Infront Sports & Media agency has detailed a raft of rights deals for the Audi Cup, as the pre-season football tournament prepares to kick-off in the German city of Munich later today (Tuesday).
Infront is the official worldwide marketing partner and exclusively responsible for the distribution of international media rights to the Audi Cup, which takes place at the Allianz Arena and this year features host, German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, along with English Premier League team Liverpool, Spanish LaLiga side Atletico de Madrid and Italian Serie A outfit Napoli.
Agreements in each territory of the participating clubs have been concluded to ensure live coverage for fans back home. In Germany, fans will receive coverage on public-service broadcaster ARD, in the UK matches can be watched on the ITV4 channel of commercial broadcaster ITV, GoITV will cover all matches live in Spain, and pay-television broadcaster Sky Italia will offer the tournament in Italy.
Infront has also brokered agreements across Europe including France (pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports), the Netherlands (pay-television broadcaster Ziggo Sport), Poland (sports broadcaster Eurosport), Scandinavia (pay-television operator Viasat) and Turkey (IPTV service Tivibu).
Further afield, coverage will be available in the US via Spanish-language broadcaster Univision, pay-television sports broadcaster ESPN Brasil and Latin America through pan-regional pay-television broadcaster DirecTV.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Infront has concluded multiple agreements including in Japan (OTT sports subscription platform DAZN), Indonesia (free-to-air network SCTV), Australia and New Zealand (beIN Sports), while India will receive coverage through pay-television broadcaster DSport.
