Media rights deals have been struck by the Infront agency in Singapore and Myanmar for this year's Fifa World Cup, with telco StarHub and pay-television broadcaster SkyNet, respectively.
Infront is selling the rights for the World Cup in a group of 26 Asian markets under a deal with Fifa covering all the confederation's events from 2015 to 2022. Deals have been finalised in most with Thailand being the last major East Asian market awaiting an agreement.
