The IPC Swimming division of the International Paralympic Committee has said a record level of broadcast coverage has been secured for the 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships, which got underway today (Monday) in Glasgow, Scotland.
IPC Swimming said 16 broadcasters from eight countries will show highlights and live coverage on television and online during Glasgow 2015, which runs through to July 19.
New Zealand production company Attitude Pictures; Spanish online platform Grada1; Japanese pay-television operator SkyPerfect TV; SportDeutschland.TV, the online sports television channel of the German Olympic Committee (DOSB); UK commercial broadcaster Channel 4 and the US Paralympics governing body have all confirmed live coverage direct from the Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
A number of National Paralympic Committees will also distribute footage depending on race results, as the national rights holders.
IPC Swimming will live stream the whole of the event, however this service will not be available in the UK and Germany because of rights agreements.
