UK commercial broadcaster ITV has extended its long-term rights deal for the British Superbike Championship motorcycling series until the end of the 2018 season.
ITV struck the new five-year deal with MotorSport Vision, the rights holder of the championship.
The ITV Sport division of ITV will continue to produce and broadcast a weekly one-hour highlights programme covering all 12 rounds of the championship. Each programme will be broadcast on digital television channel ITV4 on Wednesday nights with repeats on both the main ITV channel and ITV4.
Viewers can also access the highlights programmes via the broadcaster's ITV Player video-on-demand service.
