UK commercial broadcaster ITV has agreed a deal with the MotoGP motorcycling series to show highlights programmes from this year’s world championship.
ITV will air a one-hour highlights show from all 18 grand prix weekends.
The programme will be broadcast on digital channel ITV4 at 8pm UK local time on Monday evenings.
Pay-television broadcaster BT Sport will begin live coverage of MotoGP in the UK this season under a five-year deal with commercial rights-holder Dorna, whose previous agreement with public-service broadcaster the BBC expired at the end of 2013.
