K-League signs up Vietnamese rights partner

Vietnamese pay-television operator Vietnam Cable Television has secured rights to South Korea’s K-League top-tier club football competition for two seasons, from 2016 to 2017.

VTVcab will broadcast live coverage of six matches per week, as well as analysis, via its Thao TV and Bong da TV channels.

VTVcab also has rights in Vietnam to various other top-tier club football competitions, such as the English Premier League, Spanish LaLiga and German Bundesliga.

The K-League runs from March through to December.
