Korean commercial broadcaster KBS has agreed a deal to become the host broadcaster of the 2015 summer Universiade multi-sport event, which is taking place in the Korean city of Gwangju.
As the host broadcaster for the Gwangju Universiade, KBS will be in charge of operating the International Broadcasting Centre, as well as supporting all international and national broadcasters.
KBS agreed the deal with the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade Organising Committee.
Gwangju’s Universiade will take place from July 3-14, 2015 with more than 20,000 athletes from 170 countries set to compete.
