The Kentaro agency has acquired the global media rights for English Premier League football club Manchester United’s forthcoming summer tour of Asia and Oceania.
Kentaro said it has secured the rights following a “highly competitive” tender process, adding that it has already concluded a number of deals which will be announced in the coming days and weeks.
Under the stewardship of new manager David Moyes, United will begin preparations for its Premier League title defence in Bangkok against a Singha All Star XI on July 13 before a match against an A-League All Star team in Sydney seven days later.
The tour then moves to Japan for matches against Yokohama F-Marinos and Cerezo Osaka on July 23 and 26 respectively before the concluding game against Kitchee FC in Hong Kong on July 29.
