Dutch cable-television provider KPN has reduced the monthly subscription fee for three Fox Sports Eredivisie pay-television channels from €17.50 ($19.81) to €7.50.
The three channels show coverage of the Eredivisie, the top football division in the Netherlands.
KPN said that a combined subscription to all six Fox Sports channels is dropping from €25 to €15 per month, but Fox Sports International would stay at €12.50 per month.
Fox Sports is now also included for free in KPN’s top package, KPN Compleet.
Earlier this month KPN sealed a fresh carriage deal with Fox Sports Netherlands, ending a dispute between the two parties. KPN was forced back to the negotiating table with Fox Sports after losing out in a court judgement last month. A judge at the Rechtbank Midden-Nederland court in Utrecht ruled Fox was entitled to demand that its Fox Sports 1 channel is included in KPN’s basic television package and that it receives a per-subscriber fee.
