LaLiga, the organising body of the top two divisions of Spanish club football, has announced that the 2022-23 Segunda División season will be broadcast domestically via the largest number of platforms to date, through its new LaLiga SmartBank TV channel.
LaLiga SmartBank TV will offer the 11 matches per round live, along with the six LaLiga promotion play-off matches, summaries and a weekly highlights programme. Its formation comes after LaLiga in May elected to market the rights non-exclusively after receiving no bids for exclusive rights.
