Spanish football’s LaLiga has announced that its LaLigaSportsTV OTT platform will provide coverage of a range of pre-season matches this summer, including action from the International Champions Cup and Europa League qualifying matches.
The ICC derby match between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid will be showcased, with Barcelona’s match against Napoli in the inaugural LaLiga-Serie A Cup to also be shown.
The first pre-season match to be broadcast by LaLigaSports TV will be Real Betis’ fixture with FC Porto on Friday. Coverage will continue on Saturday with the ICC match between Manchester United and Inter Milan.
The platform will also cover Espanyol’s qualifying-round matches in the Uefa Europa League. Espanyol faces Icelandic Stjarnan in the second qualifying stage, with the first leg scheduled for July 25.
Other ICC matches to be covered will include Arsenal v Fiorentina, Real Madrid v Arsenal, Bayern Munich v AC Milan and Juventus v Inter Milan.
LaLigaSportsTV launched in March. As well as football, the platform will showcase other sports such as badminton and weightlifting.
