French digital-terrestrial television channel L’Équipe 21 has bolstered its rights portfolio through agreements for a series of triathlon properties.
L’Équipe 21’s agreement for International Triathlon Union properties include the World Cup series, which commenced in Mooloolaba, Australia on March 12 and continues its 2016 season with an event in New Plymouth, New Zealand on April 3.
L’Équipe 21 will also broadcast events from the Ironman series operated by the World Triathlon Corporation.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed, but they will commence from next month.
