Chinese internet company LeTV Sports has agreed a five-year media rights partnership with the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) covering China, Hong Kong and Macau.
The Yutang Sports website said that under the deal, from 2015 to 2019, LeTV Sports will hold media rights to more than 50 FEI events including the World Equestrian Games, World Cup Jumping and FEI World Cup Dressage.
The agreement comes after LeTV made another significant move in the sports rights market last month, sealing exclusive rights to football’s English Premier League in Hong Kong under a three-season deal from 2016-17 to 2018-19.
