The Pragosport agency has awarded rights for the Synot Liga, the newly-named top tier of football in Czech Republic, to public-service broadcaster Czech Television and pay-television broadcaster Slovak Sport.
Reports in Czech Republic said that the deals would run for four years, from 2014-15 to 2017-18.
Czech Television secured the rights for the first, second and fourth-choice matches every week, with games shown on Saturdays and Sundays.
Slovak Sport acquired rights for the third-choice match every week, and will show the live coverage on Friday evenings.
Monday night games have been taken out of the broadcast schedule due to a lack of interest from viewers.
Pragosport acquired the rights to the league earlier this year in a deal with Stes, the marketing division of the FACR, the country’s football association.
