Mediapro, the production and rights agency, has announced that it will broadcast the latter stages of the 2019-20 Uefa Women’s Champions League tournament on its free-to-air GolTV platform in Spain.
Mediapro will mix the broadcast of matches between its linear GolTV channel and streaming on the GolTV website, according to Spain’s Palco23.
The quarter-final stage of the competition sees two matches played on both Friday and Saturday of this week (August 21 and 22). Both days involve simultaneous kick-offs and one match will be broadcast on linear television, while the second will be streamed online.
The Barcelona-Atlético Madrid quarter-final will also be broadcast on Barcelona’s in-house platforms BarçaTV and BarçaTV+.
Both semi-final matches and the final itself will be broadcast on the linear GolTV channel with Mediapro also producing every match throughout these latter stages.
