Italian commercial broadcaster Mediaset has renewed media rights for the Superbike World Championship motorcycling series.
The exclusive deal will run for three seasons, from 2016 to 2018.
Mediaset still has one year left of its previous three-year rights deal for the championship, from 2013 to 2015.
Mediaset will exploit the rights on the Italia 1 and Italia 2 channels.
The channels will provide a total of 14 hours of live coverage per race weekend, including coverage of practice and qualifying sessions as well as the races.
Live coverage will also will also be provided on the Sportmediaset.it website, with repeats available through the Videomediaset.it service.
