MLS newcomer Orlando strikes local broadcast deal

The Orlando City franchise has struck a rights deal with local broadcaster WOFL-TV FOX 35 ahead of its entrance into North America’s Major League Soccer.

Under the multi-year partnership, Fox 35 and its channels will serve as the exclusive English-language local broadcast home for the franchise.

Fox 35/WRBW MY65 will show all Orlando City regular-season and play-off matches not shown by the league’s national television partners.

The club said that it would announce a Spanish-language television partner in the near future.
