Pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports Africa has acquired rights for North America’s Major League Soccer in sub-Saharan Africa.
The deal will start immediately and run for just over three seasons, until the end of the 2018 campaign. The agreement covers 25 countries across the continent.
Fox will provide live coverage of at least two MLS regular-season matches per week as well as the MLS All-Star Game, MLS Cup play-off games, which continue this Sunday, and the MLS Cup.
The broadcaster will also show highlights, player features and other MLS content across its digital platforms.
