The deals cover live rights for all 16 races of the 2011 International GT Open and 12 of the 16 races of the 2011 European F3 Open. The deal covers 38 European countries.
Motors TV’s head of programming and acquisitions Frédéric Viger said: “The GT Open and the European F3 Open in recent years have grown in all areas. We have in the past year shown a few races and were very satisfied with [them].”
GT Sport is a motorsports promoter which organises several motor-racing series. As well as the International GT Open and the European F3 Open, it also promotes the Campeonato de España de GT, the Peugeot 207 THP Cup, the Seat Leon SuperCup and the Mini Challenge.
