The MP & Silva agency has reached an agreement to continue distributing rights to the Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) motorcycling series in Latin America and the Caribbean for a further two years.
The extended deal, which MP & Silva agreed with series promoter Dorna WSBK, will run until the end of the 2020 season. The previous five-year deal, which was signed in 2014, had been due to expire at the end of the 2018 campaign.
The extension applies to all 51 territories across Latin America and the Caribbean, with the exception of Brazil.
The agreement covers all classes of the championship, including WorldSBK, WorldSSP, WorldSSP 300 and Superstock1000, and covers broadcast and digital rights.
MP & Silva said WorldSBK fans in Latin America will continue to receive access to the series via pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports.
MP & Silva has also secured a new broadcasting deal with Caribbean pay-television channel Flow Sports for all territories in the region. The agreement begins with the 2017 WorldSBK season, which gets underway this weekend at Phillip Island in Australia.
