The Portland Trail Blazers North American NBA basketball franchise has extended a local rights deal with CSN Northwest, part of the NBC Sports Group division of US media company NBCUniversal.
Although terms of the agreement were not disclosed, the Oregonian newspaper said that the deal would run for four seasons, from 2017-18 to 2020-21.
CSNNW will remain the official media partner for all Trail Blazers games and will broadcast live coverage of every contest. Regional broadcasts will be shared with KGW Channel 8, the local affiliate of the NBC network.
CSNNW will also continue to produce various support programming such as pre-game shows, half-time updates and post-match programmes.
The existing 10-year agreement between CSNNW and the Trail Blazers had been due to expire at the end of the 2016-17 season.
The team has been in talks with other potential media partners.
