NBC Sports has announced a multi-year extension of its broadcast deal with US dirt track motorcycling series American Flat Track (AFT).
For the first time in the history of the sport, two of AFT’s most-acclaimed events, the Daytona TT and Buffalo Chip TT, will air on race day on NBCSN. Elsewhere on linear TV, all races in the 18-event series will be featured in delayed one-hour telecasts, feature extensive coverage of all racing classes.
Digitally, live races will be made made available on TrackPass, a new motorsports-focused subscription service on NBC Sports Gold, launched in partnership between Nascar and NBC Sports. The AFT bundle will cost $1.99 per month or $10.99 annually.
Free-to-air live streaming of on-track activity from practice until the start of live races will continue on AmericanFlatTrack.com, AFT’s mobile app, and AFT’s official Facebook page.
AFT is also exploring international distribution opportunities in the run-up to next season, which begins on March 14, 2020.
