US pay-television channel Spike TV has agreed a deal with the K-1 kickboxing series for live streaming to four events in 2012, and television coverage for the 2013 season.
Under the deal, Spike TV will stream live coverage on its website of events from Los Angeles, Tokyo, Athens and New York between September 8 and December 26.
In 2013, the broadcaster will show television coverage of the K1 series on its Spike TV channel. K-1 will complement Spike’s coverage of the mixed martial arts Bellator Fighting Championships.
