L’Équipe, the French digital-terrestrial television channel, and African pay-television broadcaster Kwesé TV have struck new rights deals to provide coverage of the 2017 Men’s European Volleyball Championship.
The deals for the championship were brokered on behalf of the CEV, the sport’s European governing body, by the Infront Sports & Media agency.
The tournament got underway yesterday (Thursday) in the Polish cities of Warsaw and Krakow.
Infront said that other agreements are in place with host broadcaster Polsat in Poland, as well as VRT in Belgium, BNT in Bulgaria, ESPN in Brazil, Kanal 2 in Estonia, YLE in Finland, Sport1 in Germany, Rai in Italy, NOS in the Netherlands, Match TV in Russia, Arena Sport in Serbia and TVE in Spain.
