UK commercial broadcaster ITV is to show live coverage of the Champion of Champions, a new snooker event organised by the sport’s global governing body World Snooker.
Live coverage of the event will be broadcast live on digital channel ITV4.
Snooker returned to ITV for the first time in 20 years earlier in 2013 when the broadcaster showed coverage of the Haikou World Open.
Promoted by sports promotion company Matchroom Sport, the Champion of Champions will also be televised in China by state broadcaster CCTV and syndicated globally.
The Champion of Champions will take place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena from November 19-24.
