NHL, ESPN ‘believed to have reached’ seven-year US media-rights deal

The National Hockey League and ESPN are reportedly close to agreeing a seven-year media rights deal in the United States.

According to Sportsnet, the deal would include ESPN broadcasting four Stanley Cup Finals between 2022 and 2028, plus streaming rights on ESPN+. Financial terms of the potential deal have not been disclosed.
