NHL takes up option to sell Disney Streaming Services stake for $350m

The National Hockey League has taken up its option to sell its 10-per-cent shareholding in Disney Streaming Services, the interactive media and internet company formerly known as BAMTech Media, to The Walt Disney Co. for $350m (€298m).

Disney, which already held a majority stake in the business, disclosed the sale at the same time as it reported its third-quarter earnings yesterday (Thursday).
